Safety First!

At Lula B’s Foods, Food Safety is a top priority.

Our company only partners with companies who are SQF (Safe Quality Food) Certified, USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), FDA (Food and drug Administration), and State Department of Agriculture inspected.

SQF provides a comprehensive service to the food industry. Buyers and suppliers from around the world benefit from adopting a program that is truly global in nature. This enables suppliers to assure their customers that from farm-to-fork food and/or packaging has been processed, produced, prepared, distributed and handled according to the highest possible standards, at all levels of the supply chain.

SQF Certification has several advantages:

• It is the only scheme to integrate a quality component as well as food safety

• Reduces or eliminates the need for multiple, redundant audits

• Protects our company’s brand integrity

• Assures customers the processing of food and/or packaging is continually monitored to improve quality and safety

In addition to partnering with only SQF Certified companies, Lula B’s Foods also ensures that inspections are routinely performed by the USDA, FDA, and the state’s Department of Agriculture. Additionally, Lula B’s Foods only partners with companies who implement HACCP-based (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food safety and quality management systems.

 

Food Service Safety and Quality Awareness is followed daily at Lula B’s Foods. Our team members are extensively trained and skilled in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), as well as Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures (SSOPs).
